Wigan care home residents enjoy St Patrick's Day celebrations

Residents at HC-One's Westwood Lodge care home celebrated St Patrick's Day in style last week.
Colleagues at the home in Wigan, Greater Manchester, decorated a themed trolley and visited each resident, bringing with them Irish music, freshly baked cake, and various drinks - including Guinness.
The Residents really enjoyed the music, cakes and drinks and also talking about memories of Ireland.
Janet Kenyon, who lives at the home, said: "I remember going to the Guinness factory with my husband, the fresh cold Guinness was lovely."
Chloe Webb, Wellbeing Coordinator who helped to organise the event, reported that it was a fantastic day and enjoyed by all.
