Pupils from a Wokingham school are through to the national finals of a rocket car racing competition.
Youngsters at Holme Grange School designed and raced their rocket cars at the Race for the Line Great Britain championship.
The competition is intended to inspire tomorrow's engineers and scientists and involved around 70,000 Year 7 / S1 students in England, Scotland and Wales.
Teams designed and made foam rocket cars and with an option of wheels and axles.

Rocketeer teams from the competition's Navy, Army, RAF and academic partners visited schools to facilitate an at-school race day to identify the team/s that go forward to regional finals which were held at 35 Forces bases around the country in late April and May.
Holme Grange sent two teams to the regional final at RAF Benson. The school came first and third and is through to the national finals.
The regional finals identified the top 40 teams from the 18,000 competing nationally who will be invited to the national finals to be held at RAF Wittering on the Thursday, June 28.
